Message from the Examining Board of Natural Medicine
Doctors of Natural Medicine are traditional nature doctors propagated back in the 1800's in North America and of course can be traced back almost 5000 years. We are trained in the basic medical sciences as well as in traditional medicine and tailor such treatments to the individual in a way that acknowledges him/her as a participant in the healing process. It's required that we perform physical examinations, make nutritional and dietary assessments, perform procedures, and other diagnostics tests. We are classed as primary care physicians clinically trained in a wide variety of natural therapeutics, some of these include: botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, physical medicine, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, oriental medicine, homeopathic medicine and more. We perform: physical examinations; make nutritional and dietary assessments, procedures, and other diagnostic tests. Training and Licensing- to become a Doctor of Natural Medicine, a registrant must have at least 3 years of University credits in Biology and Biochemistry; 4400 hours of training in Health Science, Public Health, and Clinical Internship Natural Medicine Courses.
Dedicated to the advancement of Natural Medicine Through High Standards Education, Research and Evidence based Practice.
